“Kindly attend the photo session in the most splendid image”.
That was a part of an announcement the artist did under the title “dream star”, inviting people who have the wish to become a star. In a simple empty studio-room each of them chose their pose that in their opinion fits their dreams or reminds themselves of certain existing stars. They filled in a form to choose the direction of the digital background (shapes, colors, atmosphere) get created later for the “poster of the star”.
The stars are gleaming in the sky, in Hollywood or even in the small studio round the corner!

Das war ein Satz in einer Mitteilung, die ich unter dem Titel "Dream Star" inseriert hatte, um Leute, die den Wunsch haben ein Star zu werden, zu einem Fotoshooting einzuladen. In einem neutralen, leeren Studio-Raum wählte dann jeder seine Pose, die entweder eigenen Wunschvorstellungen entsprach oder konkret an die eines großen Stars
angelehnt war. Ausserdem füllten die Leute einen vorgefertigten Fragebogen aus, in dem sie in Stichpunkten ihre Vorstellung von einem für ihr Poster gewünschten digitalen Hintergrund beschreiben sollten. Diese Stichpunkte dienten mir als Inspiration zur Erstellung der jeweiligen Hintergründe, wobei ich Formensprache und Stil dem kollektiven Repertoire der für Starposter verwendeten Bildsprache entnahm.
Die Sterne glänzen am Himmel, in Hollywood oder in einem kleinen Studio um die Ecke.
